Mission Trip Objectives
1. To win the lost
The fundamental objective for all volunteers is to share the gospel, witness, testify, preach, pray, love the unsaved.
You are "ambassadors for Christ".
2. To encourage the Christians
You can provide needed encouragement and inspiration for those working in Belize.
It is not an occasion for imposing your ideas on them or for being superior in your attitude toward them.
It will be a time to stand alongside the local Christians workers.
3. To encourage the Missionaries
It will be a time for personal fellowship with local missionaries and those American missionaries.
Be open as they share their concern's, their joy and their burdens.
4. To broaden your Christians experience
You will be changed! Use these new experience to enrich your own Christian life.
Take your assignment as an opportunity to learn.
5. To equip yourself to share
Be a good steward of your experience and the opportunity by sharing the cjallenge of missions with others on your return. Take notes, keep a diary and take lots of pictures.
Matthew 28: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
